Philip IV and arcivernice

In the 30s the Corriere dei Piccoli published, among other things, a strip where a character, Pier beaker, using a product of his invention, the arcivernice to give life to portraits of books, paintings and posters. In this, perhaps, were inspired by some kids who, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, have tried to bring back to life, less than 350 years after his death, King Philip IV of Spain, painted by Velasquez in logic die situationist.
Lucky visitors to the King got his autograph.
